About

I am a documentary and street photographer from Hawaii and have been living in Seattle for the past eight years. I’ve been making photos since 2013 when I got my hands on my dad’s Canon AE-1 Program – back when Kodak Gold 200 was $2 a roll and developing and scanning was $10 a roll at Rainbow Photo and Video (now it’s $8/roll and $20 for dev/scan). One year ago I dedicated myself to documentary and street photography as a daily practice in some capacity and haven’t looked back.

In my documentary photography find that I’m drawn to tender and intimate moments, whereas with my street photography, I gravitate towards the outrageous and appalling, though I find that the multitudes we each contain reveal themselves eventually.
